Tuning-in Using The Five Elements - 2 day Course​

“What makes Chinese medicine distinct, even more than its needles and herbs, is its metaphysics (assumptions about reality), epistemology (ways of acquiring knowledge), and ideology (system of beliefs and values), all of which find their expression in the Taoist imperatives of preserving life and living in accord with nature” (Benfield & Korngold, 1992, p. xvi).

This course will include:

• The history of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in North America.

• We will study the polarities of Yin and Yang, and concepts of Qi, Blood and Moisture.

• A review of the Meridians and their themes and meanings in TCM will be highlighted.

• The Five Elements (Five Phases) will be presented in depth.

• We will look at The Three Treasures: Jing, Qi and Shen and their meanings.

• We will examine the Creation and Control cycles and learn how to interpret the flow of energy.

• A detailed Five Elements questionnaire has been developed for use in understanding one's personal element balance.

• Tongue diagnosis will be reviewed for use in your practice.

• We will learn detailed Five Element assessment and correction, including four types of irregular energies.

• Several protocols will be presented using the Five-Element Theory for advanced evaluation and correction.

• Course handout booklet and laminated charts will be included.

Methodology:
The INFINITE ENERGY METHOD is a powerful intuitive modality developed by Rea Tarnava that incorporates subtle energy physics-based therapy delivered through the use of tuning forks to create vibration and sound beneficial in transforming the body, subtle bodies, mind, emotions, spirit, and biofield.  This complex, multidisciplinary method is founded on practices such as traditional Chinese medicine, chakra theory, energy medicine, applied kinesiology, somatic work, Qi Gong, and, of course, sound. The name ‘Infinite Energy’ comes from the unlimited healing potential we all possess.
